Weekly Vintage Favorites #2
A few simple updates and vintage touches that made me feel like I have my life together.
Welcome to the second installment of my weekly vintage favorites, a space to slow down and appreciate the best finds of the week. This series is about the story and the process. We’re taking a deeper look at what’s been inspiring me in the world of vintage and home decor.
Each week, I’ll share what’s been catching my eye, like pieces that:
Stood out for home decor or for resale
Surprised me or taught me something new
Made me excited to be on the hunt
So without further ado, let’s get into the finds!
#1 Fancy Schmancy Paper Towel Holder

Nothing screams “I’m officially an adult” quite like getting excited over a paper towel holder. Yet here I am. Recently, I came across this photo from Thirty3cubed on Pinterest that made me realize, why am I wasting my valuable countertop space? While I am obsessed with her exact paper towel holder, I did opt for a simpler one because mine would be directly below shelves. (And because it cost less to keep it real.)

To be fair, I did not actually buy this last week. But I finally hung it last week so it seems like it genuinely feels new. It’s cuter and there is more counter space. Honestly, it’s an all around win!
Let this be your sign to do hang that thing you’ve been putting off.

#2 Art for the Forgotten Hallway
Speaking of putting things off… we moved into this place almost ten months ago at this point, and my upstairs hallway has had zero changes since week two of moving in. The only improvement we did was buy a rug to stop my cats from click-clacking across the laminate floor at 3 in the morning. Since then, it has remained a sad pass through place that I would get to eventually… (maybe)
But that changes now.
Last week I accidentally stumbled upon a 50% off day at the thrift, which ironically I was avoiding at a different thrift store. But this one was so good it almost made me rethink everything. Some of the original prices were STEEP and the discount made them only slightly less steep? But others were a steal of a deal, like some vintage floral embroidered napkins I got for a quarter each.
But for $42.50, I snagged a signed and numbered print with the certificate of authenticity. The colors are honestly dreamy and the perfect amount of retro to give some character to my hallway.
I also added in some art that I matted myself, poorly. (Please don’t look too close.) But I got both of these matching frames at different thrift stores and the floral prints are from none other than good ole’ eBay.
Who knew a paper towel holder and a hallway makeover could spark this much happiness? But honestly, the hunt has been good this week and might put these to shame, so you’ll just have to stay tuned.
If you missed Monday’s paid post, I shared something kind of wild: every single one of my sales numbers from 2024 and 2025. We’re talking revenue, costs, and best-selling products. If you’ve ever been curious about vintage reselling, that one is for you.
Next Monday for paid subscribers, I’m spilling everything I know about merchandising my vintage booth.
And this Friday kicks off our first biweekly internet roundup of vintage finds. Paid subscribers get it on Friday, and free subscribers will get it Saturday.
Until then, happy vintage treasure hunting!
